The REMARKABLE project aims to assist local leaders in developing their strategies and initiatives to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. These leaders, whose capabilities will be enhanced, will drive their municipalities, public authorities, communities, and regions toward the strategic goal of zero emissions.

CLIMATE LEADERS FOR ACHIEVING CLIMATE NEUTRALITY

REMARKABLE has a duration from September 2021 to August 2024

    PARTICIPATION OF ESCAN

    • Development of a Climate Leadership Program for leaders and municipalities aiming to train and enhance their strategies for climate change mitigation.
    • Development of roadmaps for climate neutrality by 2050 for the municipalities participating in the project.
    • Creation of the National Hub, where leaders can join the Climate Leaders Circle and attend webinars that will assist them in achieving their climate goals.

    RESULTS

    NATIONAL HUB

    The REMARKABLE project provides technical assistance to municipalities and energy agencies to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Among other actions, it has developed a Climate Leadership Program that includes workshops and informational videos.

    Elected officials, responsible parties, and technical staff who aim to achieve climate neutrality by promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy can join the Climate Leaders Circle.
