The main objective of the European BETTED project is to promote sustainable energy transition in the value chains of the dairy sector. In collaboration with the Federation of Food and Drink Industries (FIAB), activities are carried out in our country to support companies and other agents in the sector.

The challenge is to optimise energy consumption and environmental improvement in the operation of value chains, from dairy production to retail outlets.

BETTED has a duration from February 2024 to January 2027.

    PARTICIPATION OF ESCAN

    • Strengthen technical capacity and knowledge innovation among actors operating value chains in the sector.
    • Analysis of potential energy and environmental improvements and their implementation guidelines.
    • Collaboration in the implementation and evaluation of results.
    • Participation in the sustainability and replication of results.
