The European Federation of Energy Agencies and Centres, of which Escan is a member, organized this second FACILITA CoP webinar on the energy renovation of public buildings.
From Spain, Creara presented financing mechanisms and solutions for the renovation of public buildings, including both public and private financing and Energy Saving Certificates (CAES).
From France, the Rhone-Alpes Energy and Environment Agency discussed “Building and Financing a Regional OSS Ecosystem.” They offer multi-year planning advice, project assistance, feasibility, design, and guidance, and also guarantee quality and efficiency.
They manage a network of multiple OSS offices with tools available through an active public organization and thanks to two projects: BAPAURA and BAOBAP.
The first, an ELENA-type project, requires investment, while the second requires engagement.
From northern Italy, AESS, an association of over 180 members including municipalities and companies specializing in social housing, water, and parks, has introduced us to the rehabilitation plans of the program for residential buildings. They provide technical assistance to social housing, public authorities, citizens, and building managers.
We are planning to organize additional webinars in December and February. You can register at the Community of Practice (CoP).
