The Altamira Community of Neighbors, located in Madrid, has taken a decisive step toward energy efficiency thanks to the guidance of Escan Energy Consultants. By leveraging the savings generated from lighting upgrades, Escan has designed and managed a project to obtain Energy Savings Certificates (CAEs), turning efficiency into a tangible economic opportunity.
This project will allow the community to transform its lighting improvements into an additional benefit by monetizing energy savings through the CAE system. Escan facilitated the identification of savings potential, the collection of technical data, and the design of the certificate management process within the national system.
