Energy audits, the new regulations for the revision of the EED (European Energy Efficiency Directive), and the recommendations that some companies must implement were the main topics of the event.
We also presented the initial results of the A2M project in the participating countries, with nearly 100 measures implemented in sectors such as aluminum, plastics, metals, pharmaceuticals, and more. Organized by Adelphi and RSE in Berlin on September 24, an event was held to discuss the EED, which is being analyzed in Germany, Spain, Italy, and the Czech Republic, among other countries. The German National Energy Agency (DENA), the German Association of Engineers, and other relevant entities presented their positions and actions and also answered questions. In general, only a few countries already have more restrictive obligations for industries; the rest are analyzing or have called for public opinion, as in Spain.
Regulatory actions to transpose this article are expected to begin within a year.
