El proyecto KNOWnNEBS ha desarrollado una metodología de cuantificación de los beneficios no energéticos para las industrias. Ha sido un trabajo realizado por empresas, universidades y agencias de la energía, siendo Escan Consultores Energéticos el partner español.
En los últimos tres años se han realizado auditorías a más de 120 industrias de sectores como el de alimentación y bebidas, metal, mecánico, farmacéutico, empresas con resultados de ahorros energético y emisiones de CO2 evitadas superiores a los objetivos del proyecto.

Since November 2022, an expert team within the EU-LIFE project KNOWnNEBs has been working on ways to strengthen the implementation of recommendations from energy audits. Our approach highlights the role of non-energy benefits in assessing the true economic value of efficiency measures.
